The Miracle Mile Art Walk was introduced to Los Angeles by the Mid City West Community Council in 2005. The event was designed as a forum to show appreciation to and for local businesses and the community at large. Since that time, the art walk has grown to become a well-known celebration of art and culture that entertains and informs thousands of attendees each month. Additionally, with numerous high profile galleries, the art walk is a much sought-after showcase of the works of world renown and local artists of many different disciplines and crafts. Past exhibits and lecturers include the works of individuals such as Shepherd Fairey, Melvin Sokolsky, Lynne Aldrich, and many more.
